The Challenge: Making Technical Data Cinematic
Alfa Laval, a global leader in heat transfer and fluid handling, needed to prove the ROI of their Brew 80 centrifuge to the craft brewing market. They didn’t just need a technical demo; they needed a compelling story that showed real-world results. The challenge was to film inside a working brewery without disrupting operations, while making heavy industrial machinery look sleek, modern, and desirable.
The Barefoot Solution: Authentic Peer-to-Peer Storytelling
We moved away from dry corporate voiceovers and focused on peer validation. By interviewing the actual Production Managers at Wiper & True, we extracted authentic soundbites about the 12-13% efficiency gains they achieved. Visually, we used cinematic lighting to elevate the machine from a piece of metal to a piece of engineering art.
The Result: A Global Sales Asset
The final film successfully translated complex efficiency data (saving water, heat, and CO2) into a clear, emotional narrative. Alfa Laval has used this asset globally to demonstrate how their technology solves sustainability challenges.
