Let’s face it, packaging is like the unsung hero of our daily lives. We’re surrounded by it every day, from our morning cereal boxes to the products we use in our skincare routines, but we rarely give it a second thought. That is, until Paris Packaging Week comes around and reminds us just how much we rely on this vital industry!
Our approach was to film and edit on-site simultaneously, allowing us to deliver quick and exciting highlights videos for day one and two of the event. These were used in marketing campaigns and email blasts in the evening to attract more visitors. We also produced longer videos once the event had concluded, leaving no stone unturned.
And the feedback we received? The team at Paris Packaging Week was over the moon with the videos.
We couldn’t be more thrilled with the outcome, and we’re already excited to take on the next big project. Bring on the energy!
Paris Packaging Week: Event Video Production & Motion Graphics
Client: Easyfairs (Paris Packaging Week)
Location: Paris, France (Produced by Barefoot Studios London & Brighton)
Services: Event Videography, Motion Graphics, Social Media Edits
The Challenge: Capturing Luxury & Innovation in Real-Time
Paris Packaging Week is the premier event for the world’s luxury packaging market. They required a specialist video production company that could move fast enough to capture the live energy of the show floor but possessed the cinematic eye required for luxury brands like Chanel and L’Oréal. Standard recap footage was not enough; they needed a visual story that proved the event’s ROI to future exhibitors.
The Barefoot Solution: Cinematic Storytelling Meets Speed
Barefoot Studios deployed a specialist crew from our UK bases to Paris. Led by Creative Director Timothy Petherick, our team focused on three key deliverables:
Cinematic Event Coverage:
We avoided shaky run-and-gun footage, using stabilised cinema cameras to make the trade show floor look like a high-end commercial.
High-End Motion Graphics:
We did not just edit clips; we overlayed dynamic, on-brand motion graphics to highlight key stats and speaker names, ensuring the videos worked with or without sound on social media.
Same-Day Turnaround:
Understanding the virality of live events, we delivered polished social cuts while the event was still happening.
The Result: A Viral Asset for Future Sales
The final suite of videos has become a cornerstone of Easyfairs’ marketing. By combining cinematic production values with the fast-paced editing style of a viral YouTube strategy, we delivered content that did not just record the event—it sold the next one.
